how to quit nicotine?

25f. i was hella addicted to vaping and cigarettes in order to self-medicate my social awkwardness (unhealthy i know), so i went to the doctor and got a prescription for 4mg nicotine gum but now im addicted to THAT too. right now im gnashing two pieces into my molars at once

how do i heal and get better? should i try the patches? any advice is appreciated. thank you all
