SIT FT (Business with Technology) vs NTU PT (Business)

University

hello guys, im here again to hear some advice from the more experienced ppl. right now im 20, i just completed my final sem in NP, i have completed my Information Technology course and im waiting for graduation. i havent got back my y3s2 results (it prob is bad cuz im taking data struct n algo, if uk wat it is, uk its tough, and just this alone is gna pull me down alrdy) so just based off my previous 5 semester's gpa, my cumulative is at a depressing 3.1. and im looking to change major going to uni, so i hv decided upon business, like in my last post, i said that i want to venture and learn more abt business.

knowing that my gpa is not going to get me into ntu ft business, i then went to check out sit and came across a course "Business with Technology", sounds interesting to me and just nice i got diploma lvl understanding for technology. so now im evaluating the pros n cons of doing sit ft or ntu pt.

ik both are going to have me sacrifice a lot of my social time. since sit goes by trimester and everyth is like in extreme mode, whereas ntu pt means i have to work in the day and attend lessons at night, which is also shag and especially during exam periods where things are going to go crazy. so all in all both sounds bad but no choice. i have read up on reddit posts on this topic, but im still very hesitant in picking one, and hence this post.

let me lay out the pros and cons of ntu pt vs sit ft:

NTU PT (PROS)

  • i can choose how many modules to take
  • it is near my house
  • gain experience while studying, more employable after getting degree
  • more recognisable degree (asian parents wants this)
  • earn/save some money while working FT
  • can stay in dorm?? (not so sure, pls correct me
  • cheaper

NTU PT (CONS)

  • lesser personal time
  • everyday will be vv tiring (6am wake up go work, 6pm end work, 7pm go sch, 10pm finish lesson, 11pm rch home n sleep)
  • miss out on overseas programmes
  • takes longer to get the degree

SIT FT (PROS)

  • more vibrant student life, more activities and programmes, chance of overseas trips
  • faster degree
  • still recognisable locally
  • no distractions from work, so i can fully focus on studying
  • experience from internships

SIT FT (CONS)

  • more expensive
  • trimester, so more packed, less freedom (like studying in JC, everyday need grind)
  • all the way at the other end of the spectrum
  • i heard that in y1 y2 need take a lot of modules... (not so sure)
  • cannot work, cuz need focus on studies

so the above are just some of the pros and cons i can come up with on the spot, i might have missed out on some, and the above might also be wrong. but based on what i have here, i desperately need advice on which i should opt for. i still got 2 yrs in NS to decide, if after everything still cnnt, den ill js sign on or smth.

truly thankful and appreciative for any advice thank you!!
