Smelly Liquid leaked through zippers of cabin essential

The airplane was accelerating to take off then abruptly stopped and clear/brown liquid leaked from the overhead cabin. There was some sort of liquid coming from the airplane's ceiling and it leaked all over my personal items and into my rimowa's zippers and inner lining.

What would be the best way to deal with this? Cabin crew can't identify the liquid but it smells terrible and left liquid stains. The real issue is the terrible smell, has anyone serviced something like this? Thanks!
