Pixel 7pro calls keep cutting and dropping

It's in the title. I have two e-sim cards, one with Mint Mobile and one with Free Mobile (French carrier) which changes carriers depending on where I am. It does not matter which sim I use (I can make US phone calls with French line, that's why I kept it) phone calls are awful, I hear every other words and they keep dropping, unless they are on wifi then I have no problem.

I truly was not planning on switching phones. It's in great condition, I love this phone, I see no (other) reason to change and drop hundreds for something that won't even be that much of an upgrade.

Can I hope that the next software update will fix this?
