PS5 1440p + 120hz

hey guys, I just got my ps5 slim and connected it to my Samsung UA55NU8000. It automatically loaded up with 4k 60 but I want to change it to 1440p 120hz. The tv CAN do 1440p 120hz but the ps5 keeps saying it's not supported. I tried it with hdr off, vrr off, freesync off, game motion plus off, even renamed the console to PC on the TV but nothing works. Any ua55nu8000 owners using a ps5 or anyone who knows a fix for this?
