Where to Download Aurora - Forum Situation

Hello,

Its your friendly neighbourhood totally consistent aurora youtuber defranstrategy here. I have decided to make this post as many new players have appeared in a time where the forums have been down and are confused where to download the game and what is going on overall with the community.

-

Question - Where do you download the game?:

You can currently download the game through a mirror on the discord until the forums are back up, you can find a link to the mirror here - https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/15JJ0AGwqjkVSFEGPHltjJPiNoya7Dpy4

For further information on how to install the game please refer to the brilliant 7w1s guide here - https://aurora.sable.moe/install/#installing-aurora-4x

-

Question - Why are the forums down?:

The forums are down because rehosting has lapsed due to the forum host Icehawke dealing with significant real life problems which are taking all of his time (this includes medical issues), he is aware of them being down and the forums have been down sporadically throughout auroras lifespan, life comes before funny spreadsheet game.

Question - Where can I ask for help, and talk to experts of the Aurora Community:

You can find myself and other completely sane individuals as well as the rest of the community primarily on the discord and also on the reddit, the discord is the most active place and where you will receive the most immediate help and support you can find the discord here https://discord.gg/PX4ncBBpeT
