Repossessed car going through multiple auctions?

This is a bit embarrassing but through a series of unfortunate events my car got repossessed. It’s a newer car and I have an app that allows to me have remote functions, and it also tracks the car. Since the car is still signed into my account I can still track it. So I turned the car over on December 30th. The car sat at an auction for about a month and a half, it moved around the site several times. But over the last week it’s been at 2 other auction sights and it was at a very small dealership for about 2hrs. I’m wondering what might be going on with it. Why is it going to multipledifferent auctions? It’s a very nice late model defender with some modifications. I couldn’t imagine it having problems selling. Also the lender hasn’t notified me of a sell, but when I sign into my account it shows my remaining balance . To my understanding they have to notify me. So has it not officially sold? I’m a bit confused.
