Low beta HCG- 23 at 11dp5dt, brown/black spotting

Hi,

I had my first beta HCG yesterday (20th Feb), came out to 23. 😰

They said it is negative and asked to stop progesterone suppositories. No second test is called for by the clinic.

They advised to see them on first day of period (whenever it starts).

I am having brown discharge since 10dp5dt..

Increased a bit on 11dp5dt.

Today, on 12dp5dt, it is minimal, but was still there.

Due to weekend I am not able to get in touch with them.

Does anyone have any information or experience like this?? The brown/black spotting concerns me.
