Cannot choose expert or easier in Kaleidxscope

I play international version and I never played Kaleidxscope before. Now that Stage 1 is available for all, I started playing Kaleidxscope Stage 1 a few days back but I noticed that I could not choose expert or below even though the life is at 999.

Any idea?
