New AI Data Centers Emit Dangerous Infrasound

Recently there has been a surge of data center infrastructure throughout Canada and BC, with tech companies (along with guidance from local and provincial governments) taking advantage of preexisting lax zoning laws, resulting in large industrial centers being built in the heart of our residential communities. Kelowna specifically has been the target for big AI and crypto companies Hut8 and Zenlayer, with installations as close as Leckie Rd. Centers like these have been under public scrutiny in distant communities for their emittance of an inaudible, but psychologically tormenting, infrasound not discernable through the naked ear, but have been measured to provoke certain emotions on a wide scale depending on intensity. On top of the mass psychosocial consequence, these Centers are also connected to pre existing energy grids supplying lower income residential communities, raising energy bills exponentially. And its not just energy bills, in order for these installations to even run for a day, they require an average of 300,000 gallons of water. Kelowna is particularly at risk for our attractiveness to the operation and lifestyle of these big corporations, with a strong preexisting interconnected energy grid, our size in relation to location, and high quality of life. A common argument in favor of these installations is the prosperity of the local economy, however a medium size installation creates ~50 permanent jobs, and the profits generated are received by a multinational corporation. Just recently, city council denied one of these installations being built atop the previously defunct "Kelowna Mountain" tourist attraction, for concerns of infrasound, but more importantly, the image of a high tech concrete structure atop of a popular natural landscape. One could assume this is because the effects are far more visually noticeable to the public, but that doesn't mean they aren't silently eroding a quality of life that we once cherished. I assure you to do some of your own research on infrasound and the predatory nature of these big AI technocrats, as there will only be an increase in their blunders unless we organize.
