[RevShare] I am looking for serious creatives to bring a new world to life
Hi, my name is Paolo, I am 23 years old and I am Italian. I am a university student in my third year of Computer Science, but I have a dream tucked away. I would like to give back to the world what I have gained from years of cinema, video games, and reading.
For this reason, I am now looking for collaborators (of all kinds) who have passion, determination, and creativity, but above all do not get lost in the mainstream or in limitations.
What I can say about my roles and my career is the following:
- Narrative Design: I have written and published a book, I often write stories, and above all, I have a huge literary background (including novels/comics/manga).
- Game Design: in this field, my experience mainly comes from personal study, having played a lot of video games from the age of 4 to now, and having had this role in another indie project I participated in.
- Marketing: here I just have a few contacts or places where advertising could be done (some social media or streamers I know).
- Creative Design: I have a lot of creativity and passion for these projects, and I always hope to create something authentic, bold, and stylish. I have a lot in my mind.
Going into the details of the project. Currently, the project is just a blank slate, made up only of notes, ideas, and inspirations. What I can say with certainty is the following:
-It will not have a hyper-realistic art style. I am focusing more on creative ideas, pixel, retro (PS1, PS2, N64, GameCube, etc.), or personal styles. It could then be 2D/3D/ or something else.
-Regarding the programming system to use: I am open to anything; I mainly know Unity and Godot.
-Regarding compensation: I can only offer "rights and shares" in the project, or consider opening a Kickstarter or Patreon.
-Regarding publishing: I just want to avoid mobile.
-For genre and gameplay: This is also open for discussion, but definitely nothing online (at least initially). In my area, I am an enthusiast with experience in many specific genres: RPG/JRPG, horror, action, adventure, shooter, roguelike. But again, even here we can consider combining genres or creating particular/innovative gameplay.
So if you are passionate about the field, creative, and a dreamer, and you want to get involved or try it out (even with zero experience), feel free to contact me here, in the comments, or always leave your Discord contact in the comments.
I know I’m not very professional, but it’s my first time trying these posts, so I apologize if I haven’t been able to answer all the questions here (to which I respond privately), but I really want to create something truly special (even something small) to see where it can go.
Thank you for your attention, and I hope I’ve at least piqued someone’s interest.
