Regenerative breaking and motion sickness

Just took a test drive in an R1T and...wow. I'm not sure I could drive around town, let alone be a passenger. The sales person said you both get used to it and it gets better as you learn how to manage the one-pedal driving.

Any tales from the road? Trying to figure out how I can learn if I can adapt before the longer commitment to a new car.
