Confused between vstrom and guerilla

Hey guys,

I just turned 18 this month and I’m planning to buy my first bike. I’m confused between the Suzuki V-Strom 250 and the Royal Enfield Guerilla.

I’m getting the V-Strom for ₹2.04L and the Guerilla for ₹2.40L, so there’s around a 36k difference, which is also making me think a lot.

My usage will be mostly city commuting + weekend rides, and maybe occasional highway trips. Comfort matters to me, especially for longer rides and sometimes with a pillion.

The honest part is — I haven’t done a test ride yet because I don’t have my learner’s licence right now. So I’m mostly going by reviews, specs and what people say online. That’s why I really want opinions from actual owners.

I like the V-Strom for its comfort and practicality. The Guerilla seems more powerful and fun, especially with that extra torque. But I’m not sure if it’s worth spending the extra money or if I should just go with the more practical option.

How’s the comfort, mileage, service cost, and overall feel?

If you were in my place (first bike, just turned 18), which one would you pick and why?

Would really appreciate genuine advice. Trying to make the right decision.
