So, as the title says, I'm a returning fan, so this prolly isn't anywhere near as exciting as some folks' but here I go.

Favorite Season (So far):

Without a doubt, the first one, and I'm talking as a Yugioh-head. And, tbf, the first season kinda HAS to try and be a better quality, to hook people on and what-not, but even with that in mind, it does set things up well, and also address some actual TCG things, like how you shouldn't just ram a random card into the deck, but test that stuff first.

We'll see if later seasons make me change my taste or not.

Least Favorite Season (So far):

By contrast, Asia Circuit... it feels weirdly rushed, and kinda poorly written, to be blunt. For one, not really explaining the memory erasure properly (for instance, I was genuinely under the impression that Aichi's memories were whole, up until the moment where Aichi's memories get fixed) among other things, like how long was Leon's family trapped on that rock, or what Takuto's plan would've been, if Leon hadn't been a snake.

(I also ignore Daigo, because if using Locked clans causes teleporting, why didn't Takuto get him too?!)

And then there's the Motion Figure System...or rather, the misuse of it. Sure, projecting unique arenas for the fighters is one thing, but... why aren't they projecting the units, for the global audience to see? Imagination's fine and dandy for a table match, but less so for a global stage.

Also wasn't a fan of how Kamui and Misaki kinda kept eating crap... and just stared at their decks grumpily, rather than looking to bolster their decks, when the story already mentioned the new booster pack by name.

Favorite Clan/Nation:

This is admittedly a tie... and partly due to me not having played all that much (What can I say, I prefer video games, but can't read Japanese) but my top two picks would have to be Link Joker (I am a sucker for the colour scheme and corruption aesthetic) and Dark Irregulars... though Star/Brandt Gate seems to snatch me up either way, because Daiyuusha hits big, as does Gravidia.

As for Dark Irregulars... that admittedly falls to both aesthetics, and gameplay, albeit more in ZERO than not, but I'll save the details there.

This'd prolly be another "so far" answer, honestly.

Favorite Male and Female Character:

Kai... I mean, does he really NEED to explain?... Ok, I will.

It's not just him being the cool rival character who'll slap some sense into his life partner of a protag, but also him basically being the badass normal, the guy who doesn't have the magical chutzpah, but still keeps up with his own efforts.

...But, that sense of pride also resulting in some interesting plot developments, and the repercussions of those developments

Kourin, then... I admit, part of it is me liking the ship with Aichi, and some bits I've seen floating about that interest me, namely a certain thing in Link Joker and Beyond.

...Look, I ain't got anything, admittedly. Haven't played enough matches and decks to really say what card's my Avatar, my other self, the embodiment of my soul.

First Deck:

Amon in Zero... iirc, been ages since that time. But, what I do recall is vibing with the Witching Hour line, namely how they'd gain power from copies of themselves in Soul, even gaining an extra Crit if 3 or more copies were in Soul.

In general, I kinda do mess with the demonic aesthetic, and a thought of souls resonating with one another to create greater power.

Also kinda just love that sorta thing of conditionally gaining power from things that're dead and gone, that past helping you realize a future you desire.

Recent Deck:

So, recently "got" Dear Days, and admittedly, I was sorta stumbling about at first, and haven't messed with the other nations too much yet (Beyond some decklists for Majesty Lord and Draconic Overlord that I found), but I did enjoy Gravidia, namely the extradimensional vibes, and how it could double your Triggers' effect.

Next Deck to Create

Not 100% sure, depending on what I'll do, though as I said, RN working on a custom thing for fanfic plotting... though won't lie, process is slow 'cause I know only one person who's familiar with CFV, so if any of y'all know a server or some other place to discuss and brainstorm custom cards, it'd be a great help.
