Thank you!!

I’m from Maple Ridge originally but I live on Vancouver Island now. This past week my family (who largely still lives on the mainland) and I were headed to Tofino for a trip, but unfortunately my grandad experienced a medical episode that caused us to cancel the trip.

My grandpa fainted while driving on Dewdney Trunk near 203, fortunately at a stop light. My uncle was in the passenger seat and managed to park the car and him and my grandmother tried to wake him up. I was told my uncle ran out to apologize to the car behind them, and he explained what happened. My entire family owes a huge thank you to the family in the other car, as they were immediately concerned for him, called an ambulance, and followed my family into the parking lot after it had been called to make sure everyone was okay. I hope someone in the family gets a chance to read this: THANK YOU! My grandpa is in hospital undergoing some tests but overall okay and itching to get home. Just wanted to pop in and say that I really appreciate the kindness of my hometown ❤️
