24(F) this morning while i was feeding our 10 month old my fiance came in and asked me “are you going to do anything i ask you to do?” so i- with a jokingly scared face- didn’t respond quickly enough and he said “yeah you’re not getting married with that attitude.” i responded with “yeah you’re not disrespecting me with threats.” and took my engagement ring off and put it on the counter. i am 22 weeks pregnant and he never keeps in mind how emotional that makes me- even if it was a joke as he explained it was after the altercation. advice? how would you respond to your S/O if they said they weren’t going to marry you? this isn’t the first time he’s said that either.
