Kind of at a dead end at this point.

About 6 weeks ago my [ASInPro](https://asindo.pro/) stick would stop working mid matchup. [The stick is only about 8 months old](https://www.reddit.com/r/fightsticks/comments/1lu0kmr/fresh_out_of_the_box_a_new_challenger/), and only gets about **4-6 hours a week of use**. Then the OLED screen on the stick stopped displaying. So I figured the OLED screen was shorting or drawing too much power from the board.

When it stops working, I **do not get a disconnected notification** on the PS5. It just stops working, but the stick is still powered on. I can only get it to work again when I unplug and replug it in.

The only mods I've done was swap out the buttons and installed new silicon in the Golden Lever stick.

I contacted their both ASInPro and Brooks customer support, and long story short - they were no help. ASInPro just keeps telling me it's got to be the Brooks board, and Brooks had me do a bunch of tests and has now gone radio silent.

Here's what I've done/tested so far:

* Tried a different USB-C > USB-A cable.
* Updated the firmware on the Brooks Fighting Board to the latest version.
* I disconnected the OLED from the board.
* After weeks of trying to work with Brooks customer service, I gave up and simply purchased a **new Brooks Fighting Board**.
   * OLED screen came back on
   * Stick still randomly disconnects
* Check all the connections - everything looks fine AFAIK

I plan on playing tonight and bypassing the internal extension cable and going directly to the board. The hard part about testing any of this is it's very random and usually happens after a couple of hours of play.

There are 2 instances where unused button connectors are exposed (see images - one of them is tied alongside a button connection so it's hard to spot).

Any other ideas on what it could be? 🙏🏻
