Equestria Girls was weird

I don't hate it but it is really weird. We went from a fantastical world full of monsters and magic with some lore drops here and there to a high school drama. It's weird because while Twilight's age is left ambiguous, I see her as in her twenties which makes it almost strange to think of her going to high school and getting a crush on a teeange boy. There's also Cheerilee, we know that Cheerilee is roughly the same age as Rarity and Applejack since she was in Rarity's grade as shown in "The Cutie Mark Chronicles" as was a teenager the same time as Applejack in "Where the apple lies" so it is pretty funny to see her as a librarian I think at the same high school where Rarity and Applejack are students at. Though I guess it would be even weirder to see the CMC and their teacher being students just a grade or two apart. I think Rarity x Sour Sweet was honestly my favorite thing to come out of this spinoff.
