Gamesir G8+ randomly disconnects for a second and then immediately reconnects every 30 minutes to an hour.

I just bought this controller and every 30 minutes to and hour or so, the controller will disconnect and immediately reconnect. It's frustrating when I'm playing an emulator like Eden emulator as the game crashes when you disconnect a controller, losing all my unsaved progress. I'm using Bluetooth and am using the latest 2.12 firmware amd am using a Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra. Wired isn't an option.
