Road to VoS with infinite WCX and STAKE, what to do?

Just finished the game for the first time in normal difficulty, my goal is having both the WCX and STAKE with infinite ammo before starting VoS, how should I proceed? How many runs should I make? should I do then in easy for faster clearing or hardcore? Should I sell everything to priorize infinite ammo on one of them early?
