does anyone else’s AM buy foundation based on what they want to look like rather than reality?
I noticed my AM and a lot of other AMs don’t buy makeup based on their skin tone, they buy based on what color they WANT to be. Like my AM doesn’t bother checking to see what shade of foundation best matches her skin tone, she either makes a beeline for the palest shade or she just eyeballs it and picks whatever she thinks looks the best. Even if it’s like 10 shades lighter than her actual skin and is a completely different undertone and cool rather than warm. But it doesn’t matter because she can act like she’s as pale as she wants. She smothers it on and it looks chalky and cakey and sometimes even gray because the shade is SO off but to her it looks good. In photos she looks so white and unhealthy that it’s almost clownish but it is exactly what she wants because to her any shade of tan is ugly. I’m not sure if it’s delusion or just denial/cope. She avoids the sun like a vampire but is still much darker than the foundations she picks because that’s just our natural skin color… Does anyone else’s AM do this😭
