What should I know before getting into riding?

Hey guys,

I'm curious about getting into riding and motorbikes, it's always been something that semi interested me and I keep seeing videos of bikes on social media and it gets me more and more interested.

I'm 21 with my full BW license for the last 2 and a half years from the west but living in Dublin, so I'm a decent bit accustomed to most roads.

Should I treat it similar to driving a car or will that only 'harm' me so to speak.

Where can I learn more about bikes and riding in general, I have an extremely surface level knowledge on bikes?

Should I go for an A1 or A2?

What would be a beginner friendly bike be?

Any other advice or answers would for a complete novice would be greatly appreciated!
