06 liberty struts

I got a 06 liberty. Iv had it about 4 years. When i got it the struts were shot. So i put a set (front and rear) of masterpro struts on it. It fixed the bounciness. But it still bottoms out extremely easy. Like certain spots on the highway i have to slow way down or it bottoms out hard. My bump stops are also missing. So i guess my question is should i try a better set of struts or should i get some bumps first? At this point i kinda think the struts i got may be for the 4 cylinder diesel version rather than the 3.7 (different spring rate?). Anyone experience soft struts on these trucks? Or are they just that dependent on the bump stops?
