Auras and Divination

With every video and post I'm seeing complaining about the aura deletion coming soon I'm wondering why Jagex doesn't just make them a part of divination. You could have them unlocked via quests, div levels, memory strand rewards, whatever. Then power them with divine energy directly so it would last however long you wanted it to (provided you fuel it). Which imo would solve both the getting the auras via gameplay and the time limit issue.

Thematically it makes sense because it would be using divine power to enhance your character. Currently divination feels all but useless and I think this would help the skill be more popular as well as solve the aura problem.
