Cheaters crashing game server?

I was playing a ranked game and was winning quite comfortably when the game stops. What it looks like is you can still float around on your screen but the server is crashed so nothing else in the game moves except you. Then it takes you back to the menu with no SR changes. My team mates experienced the same thing.

This happened twice to us today. The servers have been stable up until today.

It was exactly the same symptoms as when cheat clients were able to crash warzone servers.

Has this been happening to anyone else? Do you think this is a cheating tool like one we know existed in the past, or is it a coincidence?
