Worst Part of a Breakup or Divorce in Your 30s Isn't the Separation, It's Finding a New Partner

In my 20s, it felt easier to replace a partner or fill the void after a breakup. Dating was more spontaneous and less complicated.

But in my 30s, it's completely different. I struggle even to get a date. I talk to multiple people online every day. Some show interest, conversations flow for weeks or even months, but when it comes to meeting in real life, they suddenly have other plans.

Today, I asked five people I've been chatting with, and all of them declined for the third time. At this point, I've decided I won't continue talking to them.

In your 30s, you're expected to have a stable job, constantly upskill, stay fit, build financial security, and somehow also build or maintain a relationship. It becomes exhausting. I've ended up focusing more on my career because survival requires money.

But at the end of the day, beyond survival, companionship still matters.
