From the moment you are born here, you are entered into a race you never signed up for. Before you can even speak, society has already decided your worth based on the marks on a piece of paper. Millions grind themselves to dust every year for the JEE, the NEET, the UPSC. It is a bloodbath of ambition, fueled by parental expectations and the terrifying reality that if you are not at the very top, you are invisible.
But for the absolute elite, the standard rat race does not apply. For the true prodigies of this generation, there is only one destination:
INDUS HIGH
You do not simply apply to Indus High. You are watched, evaluated, and chosen.
Every year, the government and a shadow companies of the country's billionaires specifically select exactly 500 first-year students(there are total 4 years in this high school 9th,10th,11th,12th). Half are the heirs to top 15 richest families, national-level athletes, and certified child prodigies. The rest are pulled from the masses through a highly classified, brutal national JAB test. These are the wildcards—students brought in to either rise to the occasion or serve as stepping stones for the elites.
Once the massive security gate of Indus High close behind you, your past no longer matters. Your family's money outside the walls means nothing if you cannot defend your rank inside.
#The school operates on three absolute laws:
1. The Point System (The Currency of Life)
Everything at Indus High costs points. Better food, luxurious single-room dorms, the right to use the training facilities, and even the right to command lower-ranked students. Points are earned not just through written exams, but through physical, psychological, and strategic ranking battles between classes.
2. The Hierarchy is Absolute
Students are divided into tiers. The higher your tier, the more human rights you possess on campus. Those at the very bottom live in cramped, poorly ventilated dorms and eat basic rations. The school intentionally creates this suffering to breed desperate competition.
3. The Golden Ticket (The Top 25)
Graduating from Indus High is an achievement, but it is not the true goal. The ultimate prize is reserved only for the Top 25 students of the graduating class. These 25 individuals are granted an unconditional, fully-funded seat at the World Academy—the undisputed No. 1 global institution. To step foot in the World Academy is to guarantee a life of absolute global power.
A cool breeze swept past the towering gates of the campus, rustling the pristine uniforms of the incoming first-year students. Among the sea of arrogant heirs and nervous geniuses stood one boy. With his hands buried casually in his pockets, he walked toward the main building for his first class.
If you look at my entrance exams, you won't be impressed, Om Aryan thought, a faint, unreadable smile touching his lips.
I don't have the highest IQ in this school. I can't beat a national champion in a fair fight. I am aggressively, perfectly average. But in a school full of arrogant elites looking for a target, being average makes you invisible. He watched a group of wealthy students sneer at a nervous-looking boy dropping his luggage.
Let them have their pride. Let them fight over the spotlight. I'm not here to be the best student in India. I'm just here to survive, adapt, and steal one of those Top 25 tickets to the World Academy right out from under them.
Welcome to Indus High.
Note: starting kuch chapter heavily inspired ya copy lagega classroom of elite ka lekin ye thora alag story. Kyo ki mera story mein slice of life, friendship, subplot romance hai, class competition or ranking bhi hai.
