The Evil Queen's cover in Dragon Games could've been blown immediately if anyone asked what story Mira Shards is from or what her destiny is.

Seems like you're only admitted into Ever After High if you have a destiny, with Poppy (or technically, Holly) being the only canon exception. If that's the case, wouldn't this be a common question to ask when trying to get to know your schoolmates, especially if their name doesn't make it obvious or they're from a lesser-known fairy tale?

How was the Evil Queen going to answer that? "I'm the daughter of the Magic Mirror"? The magic mirror's not a sapient human(oid) being in this universe as far as we know, nor is it considered a role that requires heirs to pass the destiny on to, so why does it now have a human heir? And why hasn't she ever been seen with Raven or Apple at any point, considering how important to the former's destiny she is and how much the latter loves to micromanage everybody's roles?

It would've been a lot smarter if the Evil Queen just disguised herself as a generic Charming princess — nobody would've asked any questions, and the actual Charmings at the school would've likely figured she was a distant relative they've never happened to run into and kept it moving.
