SteamRIP (buzzheavier downloads) may be compromised with fileless viruses.
It appears at the moment that all buzzheavier downloads from Steamrip are compromised, and instead of downloading the game it downloads a folder named "Free downloaded files" with a "installer" called "instaler"
this appears to add registries to windows, which repeatedly run commands to exfiltrate data to a suspicious IP (a server ran either in Germany or Bulgaria from a company known for hosting bad actors, from what ive heard) or recieve a payload (maybe a ransomware.) . The registry items also obfuscate the IP and avoid powershells protections. This malware also seems to be heavily targeting Windows devices.
From recent reports, the symptoms include
-AV repeatedly blocking connection attempts
-command prompt opening with a false registration confirmation
-Accounts being compromised after infection.
This is known as a fileless malware. For the time being, do not use SteamRIP.
If you do not know how to manually remove these, use ESET, Hitman Pro or Malwarebytes with rootkit scan, if all else fails perform a full windows reset.
