I am working on Gemini Web MCP & CLI and I discovered a method to check quota!

So I've been building a CLI and MCP server for the Gemini web interface. Still very much a work in progress and I'm actively testing things with my OpenClaw agent and other tools like Cursor and Claude Code, but I wanted to share something cool I found along the way.

I tracked the RPC that Gemini uses internally to track your usage limits. Turns out you can pull your full quota breakdown programmatically. Here's what it looks like (see image)

Per-feature usage, limits, remaining count, and when the rolling window resets. Pretty handy if you're trying to figure out why Gemini suddenly stopped generating resources for you or 3.1 Pro no longer answers when using the MCP or CLI.

This project builds on my earlier work with NotebookLM MCP and CLI (https://github.com/jacob-bd/notebooklm-mcp-cli), which does something similar for Google's NotebookLM.

Once I'm done testing and things are stable, I'll release the Gemini version on my GitHub too. Stay tuned!
