19M are friends with this girl in my batch who's also same age as me, now we have been talking for the past 5 months. It was always her who initiated the conversation be it IRL or on WhatsApp now we instantly clicked and became very good friends and somewhere along the line I got attached and I thought she liked me too. Now before you guys bash me hear me out we used to always sit together, she used to always video call me during holidays and we used to talk for 4-5 hours, during lectures she always sat beside me leaving her female friends and we used to listen to romantic songs. She occasionally fed me with her own hands and even cooked for me sometimes. She made my files from scratch (it was 30-40 pages) without any hesitation. Now after all this I was certain that she likes me and to my surprise she asked me if I had any feelings for her to which she replied she only sees me as a friend only....after this I was heartbroken and stopped talking to her but I still had to attend lectures so I had no option but to make peace with her and after this her activities have increased more she sits way too close to me and touches my legs and backs and holds my hand, we listen to songs daily and whole class thinks we're in a relationship. She leans on me in class infront of everyone. In group settings she shows that I am just a friend but as soon as we are alone her behaviour instantly switches and she starts calling me "baby" "Babu".She also always wants to see my chats with others and always is on my phone. Now I don't object all of this but I don't want it to be in the false cover of friendship. I've tried confronting her but she says we are friends everytime.
