Housing Fell Through with a Week Til Move-In, Want to Cut Off Everyone and Start Fresh

To start, I'm (F, 25) quickly approaching the end of my lease. My auntie offered to let me live with her last spring/summer. Basically saying that she really wants me to succeed (I'm yet to finish undergrad but was a "gifted child" with an unstable upbringing and she felt bad I guess) and I should come live with her and she'll pay all my bills down to my phone bill as long as I'm in school and serious. I never asked for any of that, she just offered. I accepted and said I couldn't come until my lease is up at the end of February.

Both of my parents stay in the area, I have strained relationships with them but we talk/see each other occasionally. My mom is not in a position to take me in, and I was living with my dad before I got my own place. I wouldn't consider returning, tried to spend a couple nights recently (I canceled my wifi and wanted to study late for finals) and found my toothbrush damaged after the first night so I left quietly (clearly a power play). My lease is up at the end of February and I've been planning to move into my aunt's house since last summer. I've lost the option to stay in my unit, and I would've planned to move buildings anyways if given enough planning time.

Last night she called to say that I can't stay with her because she wants to sell her house (over an expensive, ongoing issue). She just called to quickly say "I'm telling you so you can just stay where you are, I'll send you $500 for 3 months". And that was that, I have nowhere to go and no plan. I cannot confirm, but I'm almost positive that one or both of my parents have badmouthed me in a way that influenced how this all played out. That hunch is based on both long-standing patterns and recent events. My aunt is big on the "honor your mother and father" rhetoric. She's somewhat sympathetic to why I'm distant (and I haven't shared nearly half of our issues with her), but she'll never think I have a real reason to not speak to them. I do think her perceiving me as a bad daughter would absolutely make her not want to honor her offer. I know she doesn't owe me anything, but I also know I'd be better off if she never offered. I cannot confirm that this is about anything more than her selling her house, but this kind of disregard isn't what I'd have expected from her.

On the call, I was polite and said sorry about her house and it's all good, but I'm really devastated. I have no clue what to do. I understand I'll have to put my pride aside. I don't want to ask people for anything, I've always struggled with hyper-independence. I feel like I sound crazy assuming my parents are involved, but I'm amazed that with a week until my lease is up, my aunt would just tell me not to come even for a single night.

My last job didn't work out because my employer (a friend of my mom's who asked me to work for her) started bullying me soon after I started. She was clearly a nasty personality, but if you bully your best friend's daughter so blatantly, I can guess why. My mom also acted very suspicious in regards to that job, conversations like:

*mom calls me 20 minutes after my shift ends, returning my call from 5 hours prior, it's her day off* "how was work" "good" "good?!" (we both know I just got bullied by her friend) "yes, good" "were you on time?" "I was three minutes behind, my car broke down and I got a ride" "just three minutes?!" (was obviously told something worse), "yes, I came in three minutes late" "did you tell [friend] about your car" (shocked it didn't come up) "yes, she knows" *she gets off the phone soon after, first says "must be nice to have a safety net" in regards to me getting a ride*

I left that job and confronted my mom about her clearly giving the impression that I'm fair game for mistreatment. She first said "how could I talk bad about my own daughter" and when I asked her to simply deny speaking negatively about me, she said "well how do you even define speaking negatively". Classic. Far from worst, just the most recent. Cannot begin to explain all the indicators that she gets a kick out of that sort of behavior. We've spoken much less since then, but we do speak and see each other around.

That was a sidebar, just to illustrate where I'm coming from. After I left that job, I thought I was moving in with my aunt to focus on school and I didn't look for another (I've been doing odd jobs to feed myself and paid my last month of rent with student loans). When my aunt offered me a place to stay, she specifically said "anything I do for my son I'll do for you", he has never been allowed to have a job so he can focus on school (he's in his last year of undergrad). I didn't even think she'd want me to work much (I was told my focus must be academics and she seems to look down on the work I do) and I planned on just continuing with odd jobs. When I spoke to her about the move two days ago and she told me I'd need a job and she'd help me get one, I agreed happily. Now I don't want her help with a job, and I don't want anyone near my parents knowing anything about me.

I honestly just want to cut off everybody. I want to finish my degree and graduate by myself. I want to just survive however I can until I'm able to do better for myself. I feel entitled and stupid for even thinking this could've worked. I've been fed up with my parents for so long. My feelings don't extend to my aunt but I feel like I'm at such a disadvantage when I try to operate in my parents' circles. I don't want to ever talk to anyone who knows them, more than I specifically want to cut off my aunt. She was very nice to even offer but I knew the dynamic when I agreed, I just want to finish school asap and I thought it'd motivate me.

This is about so much more than a place to stay. I constantly feel like I'm purposely being pushed back and then blamed/mistreated on the basis of not being further ahead. I cannot explain how, on top of life being stressful enough, my parents' involvement compounds it to the point that I don't know how to be a "good daughter" and still stay sane. I understand it might not be a good time to burn bridges, and I'd prioritize being comfortable over being left alone, but tbh this move was the last good reason I had to talk to them besides my health insurance (which expires this year).

As for the advice I need: • what's the best way to figure out my housing situation? Short & long-term? What should I do with my stuff? • What jobs should I seek for security while I'm finishing school? Background in education/childcare but transitioning to tech, open to whatever pays well and allows school to remain my focus. Any direction/suggestions are welcome. • What are your thoughts on NC? Obvs a personal choice and something I probably wouldn't be ready for until I'm stable, but I when I find a job and a place to stay I'd like them to stay hidden. From there I'll possibly distance myself. Tips, tricks, and advice all welcome
