[23/Nondisclosed] I'm a first-time poster, but experienced in sending letters to strangers!

Hello! I've never had a pen pal before, and I hope to have a positive experience with this community. Here's some context for my title: I used to belong to a religious organization that encouraged door-to-door ministry. During the pandemic, letter writing became the go-to method. I spent countless hours handwriting letters to strangers in my area. While I rarely got responses and eventually left that organization (to clarify: I'm currently not religious or spiritual), I do miss writing. Moreover, I'd like to actually connect with people out of genuine curiosity.

Since I'm new to this arena and I don't have a PO box, I'd feel more comfortable emailing.

With that out of the way, here's a few things about me! I was born and raised in the USA. I've lived in the same town all of my life, but I do plan to change that in the near future. I work full-time for my local school district.

Some hobbies and activities I enjoy:

• listening to music
• learning piano and guitar
• hanging out with my best friend
• cuddling with my cat
• weightlifting

As you could probably tell by that list, I don't have too many things taking up all my time! I want to be a timely and consistent pen pal, and I hope to make a new friend through good conversation. Thanks for reading!
