Has anyone taken ritalin? How did affect your mood?

I have BPD and also might have ADHD but not quite sure on that since i didn’t get an actual diagnosis of it but i got prescribed ritalin yesterday (haven’t started yet), also I’m not on any medications now for my bpd bc lamictal and ability were not really doing anything for me. So i was wondering how does ritalin affect a person with BPD?
