SeeingReason actually did show up in Chapter 5.
Not only did she show up, but her being a Prototype loyalist and a converted experiment (something that I predicted) was fully confirmed too. And it was right in plain sight completely overshadowed by The Joyless plotline, right on that newspaper.
So, in CH5, we can find a newspaper that talks about The Joyless for the very first time, how Safe Haven's toys are actually very dangerous cannibals and the entire base is a nightmare that everyone should stay as far away from as possible.
The entire thing is obviously a pro-Prototype propaganda campaign but the real reveal is actually not what's in the newspaper itself, but rather the name of it: "The Better Press". Now, abbreviate those words into the acronym, TBP, and where have we seen this before?
SeeingReason was a Prototype loyalist all along and she's the girl behind the newspaper! She directly labels herself as a byliner here (a writer credited by name in a publication) as well as a gumshoe detective. She's the brain behind Ollie's propaganda machine. And now we can finally piece everything together.
SeeingReason (or Catbeefan95) was Preston's daughter who lost her dad after The Hour Of Joy. What remained of Playtime Co., with Eddie at the helm presumably, sent her a cover story and audio recordings but she wasn't satisfied with that and wanted answers, so one day, she broke into the factory to investigate and came face to face with Ollie. Ollie, wanting more test subjects for his experiments, did the same thing he did to her dad and converted her into an experiment, likely an Outimal. Whether she came over to his side willingly or was conditioned doesn't really matter, but she became his right-hand propaganda woman, eagerly portraying him as a liberator.
And yeah, that's basically that. Thoughts?
