How does the average chinese person even view Eileen Gu?

From everything I know about chinese culture, it seems very unlikely a chinese person would view someone who is mixed-race, born and raised in america, attends university in america, and apparently only dates white guys to actually be chinese, so is she only accepted because she wins them gold? Or do people there actual accept her as one of there own?

I imagine there at least has to be some pushback from people who are opposed to bringing in foreign athletes to compete for china over domestic talents, so how positive is her reputation over there?
