Vyvanse 30mg while pregnant
I’m 30F and just found out I’m pregnant. Although slightly unexpected, happy news of course.
I have inattentive ADHD and anxiety and take 30mg Vyvanse daily (might sound weird but it does help my anxiety).
I normally don’t take it once or twice a week to avoid building tolerance. 30mg has been working well for me for a while.
I can definitely function without it, I did it for 30 years, but do feel much better on it.
I’d like to keep taking it during pregnancy if my OB allows it, but definitely not if it could cause any harm to my baby.
Extra note: my blood pressure tends to be on the lower side naturally, systolic being between 90 and 110 normally. Last time I got it checked it was about 90 over 60.
My heart rate naturally stays around 80 to 110 (specially when I get up from sitting/laying down, and sometimes I get that “black out” feeling when I get up, but goes away in a few seconds.
I do notice Vyvanse brings my heart rate up, but don’t notice it making the black out symptom worse.
Has anybody here taken it during pregnancy? Can you tell me about the risks? What did your OB say? How did your baby do?
Any input is helpful.
