Need to choose

Hello ! I want to buy a Macbook air M4 that I will use next year for my studies. So, I'm a bit on a budget, and I either have to chose to get a MB 24gb/1T or 36gb/512gb.

I plan to keep it for a very long time as I'm very careful with my laptops (I have a Macbook that I bought in 2017 and no scratches). Which one is better to chose ? I will not have very extended use, apart from taking notes, streaming, browsing and very light gaming.
