Hey! For context: I'm really new to makeup and i just wanted to learn how to get a really natural looking base (concealer only in 'problematic' areas). I bought the glossier concealer in shade medium 4, which was too orange on me but i would say the right lightness? I returned it and bought medium 1 - which i think may be slightly too light for my medium skin - but i think it's the correct undertone. I have medium brown skin (on the lighter side) with a neutral undertone (maybe slightly olive) i think😅.

I have been using it and i hate how it settles into every little line I didnt even know was there under my eyes. Also, it looks almost like grey in some lighting and my eyes look like (idk how to describe it but) 'shocked'😭 like it's too bright underneath my eyes but i want something natural. It looks good in some lighting but most of the time it looks like ashy and unnaturally bright under my eyes.

I'm looking for a concealer that will cover lightly without looking patchy, settling into creases, where i can just kinda throw it on without a brush and it looks pretty natural on my skin tone. My skin looks pretty desaturated already but the concealer just makes it look so dull😔. I'm willing to colour correct but I have no idea what colour I need for my skin brightness.
