Extended Period

So I will make this short, unlike me period. I had a period in December, skipped January and started me period again last Friday.

But the problem is...is that it has gone 9 days and I am still bleeding and heavy too. Could this be due to not having a period last month?

(Also I've never had a period last this long, it's always been 7 days max).
