In Rivermere, where ward-lines hum across brick and potion cafés glow past midnight, magic isn’t hidden — it’s regulated, domestic, stitched into daily life. Enchantments water window boxes. Rune electricians fix what flickers. The city runs on coexistence and careful balance.

Within it stand four elementalists shaped by inheritance and choice: Maya Meriweather, tending quiet blooms while a royal Earth lineage stirs beneath her hands; Rin Akagawa, curse-seer tracing rot through polished systems; Selene Greystone, tidebound and controlled, fighting the bond that threatens her autonomy, and Aria Lark, night-shift healer whose windsong-magic begins to ripple beyond the ER walls.

No prophecy binds them. No single enemy unites them. Just heritage, identity, and love that steadies without demanding surrender.
