replacing shell on nds lite bottoms screen concern

it's my first time shell swapping the lite, and this plastic cover came off the bottom screen when trying to remove the border, i noticed it has these ribbon cable looking pieces around the border, i wanted to know if it was important, and if so where can i find a new one considering it's scratched anyways
