Quick question about amount of screw thread engagement with Wager cut and 507C X2

So I just installed my 507C on my newly cut slide, I used Battlewerx 6-32 x 5/16, basically the same length as the short screws provided by holosun. this is what the info sheet said to do in the box from wager. It also said I could use 1 long one on the left side, my worry is I only got about 2.5-3 turns of thread engagement before it got tight, and just wondered if that's enough? torqued to 15, and I used blue loc-tite as well. Figured several on here have run this same setup so figured id ask! thanks
