rental property bed is in a bad shape Scotland

The bed frame that the landlord provided is in a bad shape. It has been 6 months since I moved in. It’s not because of any damage that I caused but the other bed in the apartment is fine. The quality was bad and i weight a lot more than my flatmate so the bed frame planks are looser and thus keeps sinking. Is this my prerogative or should I asked my letting agent to look into it?
