Updating 14 x 18 basement to a theatre/music room

I’m looking at the Denon AVR-S970H and AVR-X2800H receivers. Also the Onkyo TX-RZ30(9.2) seems to be a great buy. Am I limiting myself too much on these receiver options? And with a room depth of 18’ is it practical to think about adding 2-4 Dolby Atmos speakers sometime down the road?

Hopefully at least a few of these would work for movies/music.

Not sure if I need a subwoofer. I’m sure it wouldn’t hurt. SVS seems to be a very strong brand. If so, what size would make sense? Also, would I need an amp with a 7.2 system?

These speakers seem to be some of the best options off Crutchfield for my price point. And as u can see, my speaker preference is warmer/neutral. I’m obviously open to any other suggestions. I’m nowhere near an audiophile so I thought it made sense to seek out a few educated opinions. I appreciate any help.
