Skipping scales and etudes

Question

Is it ok if I skip scales and etudes for maybe a couple weeks, as I'm working on some heavy repertoire and don't have much time? We're playing Tchaikovsky 5 which already has a lot of scales and stuff, and I need to commit to it. Also I'm starting to read Weber's concertino

I mean I will keep doing long tones and some scales and arpeggios warm up, but not the throughout study I usually do for like over an hour

Is that ok?
