I've only recently discovered Svengoolie

I'm a handful-of-decades-old fart from Eastern Canada who doesn't really like horror movies much and used to turn off "horror hosts" whenever I came across them because the style didn't really mesh with me.

Last week during Dino Shark I stumbled on Svengoolie & friends, took one hard look, and I am now an immediate fan.

It reminds me of the kind of programming they used to run on YTV (Canadian youth TV channel), specifically "The Zone", which had video hosts, skits, sketches, and comedy bumpers punctuating its lineup.

It's real TV made for people who love TV. By people who love TV.

Really appreciate and cherish it, team. Thank you! Sorry to only come on-board now, in the year 2026. I know I'm super late...
