Royal Mail letter collection

Does anyone know if it’s possible to collect your letters from the sorting office? Our mail is messed up big time at the minute. We literally got 10 letters through the door yesterday after nothing for weeks. One of the letters was dated 2nd Feb, another was the 3rd. I’m expecting post at the start of this week which is important and can’t wait for weeks on it otherwise I’ve a problem.
