Don't trust Discord stores that sell cheap Robux

Pinned

Given how insanely popular Roblox is with younger kids, it’s probably no surprise that Robux scams are everywhere. At this point, they’re one of the most common scams in the community.

So to help people avoid getting burned, we’re going to share the names of some known scam servers and break down the methods they use. This is strictly for awareness and prevention.

Just to be 100% clear: this is NOT an encouragement to copy or try these methods. Any attempt to imitate these scams can (and very likely will) result in a permanent suspension on both Discord and Roblox. Don’t do it.

Scamming Servers

If you literally just Google “Discord Robux Shop” you’ll find a ton of sketchy sites almost immediately. Examples people often come across are RobuxShop.gg and RobuxWorld.gg — and they all tend to run very similar plays.

Here’s generally how these scams work:

Quick disclaimer before anyone gets the wrong idea: this post is for awareness, not imitation. The goal is to help people recognize the red flags and avoid getting scammed. Trying to copy these methods isn’t just unethical — it can get your Discord and Roblox accounts permanently banned, and the consequences can be way worse than you think.

I’ll be honest — I’m writing this as someone who learned the hard way.

When I was younger, I saved up my allowance because I really wanted to buy a lot of Robux. I thought I’d found a great deal. It looked convincing, the prices seemed amazing, and I genuinely believed I was about to get way more than I normally could.

But after less than 15 minutes of actually Googling and digging around, I realized it was a scam.

That feeling sucks. You feel embarrassed, frustrated, and kind of stupid — even though these sites are literally designed to trick people.

I’m posting this because I know there are countless Roblox players, both kids and adults, who are in the exact same position I was in. If this helps even one person stop and double-check before clicking “buy,” then it’s worth it.

Long story short: their main tactic is intentional price manipulation.

When you join their server, you’re asked to verify first. After that, you gain access to multiple channels. In those channels, they list items users would normally want to buy — things like Robux or Limited U items — all displayed like a legit marketplace.

If you look around the channels carefully, some of you might notice something odd pretty quickly: there’s no general chat channel for regular users.

When people think of scams, they usually imagine the classic method — you send the money, and then the admin either kicks you out or disappears.
But these guys are a lot more calculated than that.

Here’s how their scam actually works:

1. You pick the item you want and open a support ticket for it.
During this process, you’re often required to provide basic information — and in some cases, even personal details — which are now directly in the hands of the scam server.

And this is where the important part begins.

Robux Channel

Cheap Robux Bundle Channel

If you take a look at the price list I attached (Robux only), you’ll notice something else: they don’t just accept PayPal, which is already risky enough — they also push payments through gift cards and even Bitcoin.

At this point, most users do start to feel that something’s off.

But when they compare the prices to the current market rates and see the massive difference, that doubt often gets overridden by greed or excitement.

And this right here is the last exit ramp.
The last moment where you can still walk away.

After spending a long time observing the server and cross-checking things through Google, I noticed something interesting.

Just like most people would probably assume, the 50k Robux “Cheap Bundle” was by far the most popular option.

Because of that, I’m going to use that price point — $30 for 50k Robux — as the main example.

Up until the moment you send the $30, everything feels surprisingly normal. The conversation is polite, structured, almost professional. Nothing immediately screams “scam.”

But the real turning point is when you send a $30 gift card code.

That’s when things actually begin.

In fact, they can also involve bank transactions, but they commit the crime in a way that never exposes personal information. After all, personal data is their biggest weak point.

Ex. Order

Take a look at the image I attached. This shows the content of the Order channel inside their server. It does contain real order records (in my case), but for the most part, it’s just bots posting one order after another over time.

But after they receive the code, they use it almost immediately (it doesn’t even take a minute!). Then, about 30 to 40 minutes later, they send a message like this.

It was mine

Another one(From Reddit). Same Scammer, Same Message

If you receive this message for the first time, you’ll probably be quite shocked. But, if everyone starts thinking the same way, you might actually see this order as a surprisingly good deal.

Look at it this way: the amount I pay is only about double (around $70). But, what do I get in return? Nearly three times as many Robux—all for a price lower than the actual market value. (Of course, it depends on the person!)

However, if you’re a real Robux seller, this method is a massive loss. So, if you don’t want to fall for other distractions, you need to stop right here. Just leave the situation, or say you changed your mind, close the ticket, and do your best to get a refund. (Good luck)

In reality, everyone receives the exact same message. This means that what they’re doing is a regularly repeated tactic by the scammers.

It’s a pattern, something they rely on over and over, as part of their routine scam.

In the end, we end up paying extra just to get an amount of Robux we never actually wanted.

And once we pay, since this scam is so well-known, it usually stops after about $70 (sometimes more!). We just wait for the Robux, but the story never progresses beyond that point.

This whole narrative stops spreading because there are no chat channels left for discussion. The ticket is forcibly closed, and some victims get blocked by the admin. Even if you contact the support channel, all they say is that the Robux will be delivered soon.

Yes, that’s right—you’ve been scammed.

Even if you just pay $30 and forcibly end the conversation, the server still profits no matter what.

Most of the reviews, whether on Google or inside the server, are 99% fake bot reviews. Just by looking on Reddit, you’ll see tons of criticism about this server.

They rake in huge profits from this.

To sum it up:

  1. Initial payment (around $10+).
  2. Inducing further spending (stock issues, price changes, etc.).
  3. Providing a sense of trust (adding order lists, faking reassurance).
  4. No further communication. The scam is over.

Now that you know their scam methods, is there any way to prevent it?
Yes, there are actually plenty of ways.

In fact, most of you reading this are likely parents of children, or kids who want to buy Robux. So I’ll leave you with a few reminders before I end.

To the parents, I want to say this: simple, proper education alone can stop these scams. Tell your child there is no cheap way to get Robux outside official channels, or even better, block in-game spending entirely. (Of course, that’s not something you can do forever, so try it with younger kids.)

And to the kids, I want to say this: spending money in games isn’t a bad thing by itself. But as you spend more, your desire grows, and you start searching more for cheap ways to get lots of Robux. Let me be clear: aside from official routes, there really is no safe way to get Robux. Buy them when their value is low, through official channels.

To those who have already been scammed, I’m really sorry, but it’s very hard to recover the money you spent. Especially if you used Bitcoin for the transaction, it’s even more difficult. Please try to look into any refund or chargeback services you can, and do your best to minimize your loss.

If you’ve already lost your money in this scam, see it as a lesson. Now, you’ve gained the critical ability to spot other scams more carefully. :)

I don’t know how many of you are reading this, but success really does come to those who work hard. No matter how much money they make from fraud, eventually, they will be caught and punished. Sometimes, we need to work together to stop this. Group reports on Discord and Roblox can actually lead to real consequences. Stay safe, and happy Roblox gaming!
