Okay, so the summary says "two men trick him". That's a huge understatement.

They didn't just "trick" Solomon. They straight up drugged and kidnapped a free man. Then sold him. Brutal.

He spent twelve years in absolute hell. The cruelty was unimaginable. But he never gave up hope.

That Canadian carpenter was a true hero. His reunion with his family... Gets me every single time.

Such an important, powerful film. A definite must-watch.
